Cloud 9 to 5 is the home of artist and filmmaker Arthur Hur.
Arthur has worked in all aspects of the film and television industry as director, visual effects supervisor, compositor, animator, designer, and cinematographer.
He started his career as the assistant to director Michel Gondry through the release of the film Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, and went on to join the editorial and visual effects teams on the Martin Scorsese film, The Aviator. He has worked alongside Laurie Anderson on her project Hidden Inside Mountains, and has continued to collaborate with others on various films, music videos and commercials, with most of his time spent at Hornet Inc.
In addition, Arthur is an avid enthusiast of wine and its connections with nature, history and culture. Ask him for a pairing recommendation with your next meal. One day, he would also like to beat one of those guys in Washington Square Park at chess.
Arthur graduated magna cum laude from Brown University in 2003 and currently lives in Brooklyn.
